Our Style
Our first step in your new granite design is sourcing the perfect stones. This can be reclaimed historic stone from former bridges and buildings or new quarry stone from one of our many sources throughout New England. Either way, every piece of granite is handpicked by us and fabricated by us or one of our trusted quarry partners.
Why Us?
Very few competitors in our industry can match our quality of build and artistic eye we possess for stonework.
Quality stonework consists of a few important factors….
THE INSTALLER
We are passion driven, detail oriented, and consistently pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved with stone.
THE STONE
We hand-select and custom fabricate nearly every piece of stone, allowing each outdoor space it is own unique look. This allows us to work with stone much larger (or in custom dimensions) than what is prevalent at most supply yards.
THE UNDERGROUND ENGINEERING
While the one portion of the patio you will never see upon completion, it’s the most important. We go above and beyond industry standards in preparation and drainage to ensure your patio will stand the test of time.
THE ARTISTRY BEHIND THE BUILD
Whether flawless joint lines on large format paving stones, live edge countertops and sitting walls, or displaying the natural beauty of the stone with perfectly flat walking surfaces, we are quite often the originators of these styles not the imitators.

Why Use Granite?
Granite is the oldest, most durable outdoor building material available, far outlasting the building in which it is installed. Just look at any ancient “ruins”, and quite often granite elements are the only ones left standing the test of time.
Granite has become the material of choice for today’s luxury homes, known for its enduring beauty, resale value, and longevity. Granite creates an immediate impression of elegance, and is considered a definite plus on any real estate broker’s checklist.
Granite, being an igneous rock (formed from volcanic activity) differs from marble, limestone, bluestone, and travertine as those are sedimentary stones composed mostly of calcite, a relatively soft mineral derived from animal skeletons and shells. The formation of these stones leaves them softer and more porous than granite, making them more susceptible to influences from freeze/ thaw cycles and salt applications commonly seen in any given New England winter. Granite is one of the hardest stones available, resistant to these influences when installed correctly. For comparison granite rates a 7 on Moh’s Measurement of Hardness Scale, while marble only rates a 3. This translates to granite having no need for chemical sealers and far less maintenance in general, typically only requiring periodic pressure washing to keep it looking as good as the day it was installed. Some clients even prefer the natural aging and patina process on granite, therefore making their patio surface virtually maintenance free.
We are experts in both traditional and modern granite processing techniques. Whichever look you are aiming for, let us show you how to make granite a valuable investment and a permanent addition to your property.
